I can edit all your educational materials, such as K–12 curriculum, teacher resources, or learning guides. I will edit for clarity, reading level, bias-free language, and overall correctness. As a former teacher I will make sure your student resources (such as textbooks) are written at the appropriate reading level for their intended grade. My unique perspective
As a former teacher, I have experience working with curricula, and I know what makes an educational resource effective.
I’ve used educational materials in the classroom and have seen whether or not they engage students;
I’ve talked with dozens of teachers about the strengths and weaknesses of teaching/learning materials, including teacher resources;
I’ve used countless teaching materials and know what makes them teacher- or student-friendly.
I have researched and written on various topics such as teaching vocabulary to ESL students, second language acquisition, and teaching jazz improvisation.
