Freelance editing services for non-fiction writing

I am a professional editor based in Toronto, Canada, but I work with clients from around the world. I have an editing certificate from Simon Fraser University, a master’s degree, and ten years of editing experience.

Keith Goddard: Non-fiction Editor

I provide a wide range of freelance editing services, helping authors with everything from their memoirs to their websites. I specialize in editing dissertations, theses, and educational materials (e.g., curriculums and textbooks). I have also edited several successful grant proposals. Whatever your writing project and editing needs, I can help.

Below you can learn more about some of my areas of specialization. You may also be interested in knowing about the different types of editing that exist.

Do you have educational content that requires editing?

Have you written something on a music-related topic that needs editing?

If you need an editor for your written materials about music, you need a music specialist who understands the language of music.

With a master’s degree in music, I can edit your dissertation, instructional materials, concert programs, or anything else you need help with.

Is English your second or third language? Do you need an editor for your writing?

As a certified ESL teacher, I have experience working with multilingual authors. That’s one of the reasons I started an ESL editing service. I can help you express your ideas clearly and concisely.

Working with Keith on this project has been an absolute joy.
